Most of the places to which we escape exist inside our own minds. We escape into dreams, we lose ourselves in books, movies, and songs, and we seek connection to intangible planes. Some of these ventures into the mind are just for fun, but some of them help us to solve or explain issues in the real world. Often when we escape within our minds, we seek relief from the sorrows of our lives. The music on this concert will invite audiences to escape with us and celebrate how music helps us to dive deeper into our inner worlds.
